HTC Desire 826 with Ultrapixel front camera officially launched in India for Rs. 25,990

HTC had officially announced the launch of the Desire 826 smartphone in the Indian market few weeks ago. The Desire 826 features similar design pattern as the Desire Eye, but sports an Ultrapixel front camera instead of 13MP, found on the Desire Eye. HTC Desire 826 comes in four colour options including White, Blue and Purple colors.

HTC has priced the Desire 826 in the country at Rs. 25,990, which is the maximum operation price (MOP). HTC Desire 826 was originally announced back in January at the CES tech show.

On the specifications front, HTC Desire 826 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense 6.0 UI on top. The smartphone measures 158 x 77.5 x 7.9mm and weights 183g.

Other specifications include a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, Ultrapixel front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable up to 128GB using microSD card and 2600 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.1 with aptX enabled, DLNA, HTC Connect and GPS.

The Desire 826 also comes with dual front facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio surround sound support.
