HTC One X10 with 16.3MP rear camera live image leaked, launching in Q1 2017

Back in January 2016, HTC launched its 5.5-inch phablet device called the HTC One X9. Exactly after an year, HTC is planning to launch a new refresh of the One X9 smartphone. Called HTC One X10, the device will come with similar specs as found on the One X9, with improvements in just camera segment. The physical look and feel of the device is going to vary.

Leaked by @evleaks, the device is expected to launch later this month. HTC is reported to release a total of three smartphones in first quarter of this year, X10 is one of them followed by HTC Ocean Note with curved screen and industry-best camera. The last device could be the successor of HTC 10.

Talking of One X10-design, the back of X10 resembles the HTC One and the HTC 10 series with metal build, whereas the front is similar to the Desire series. On the back there's a fingerprint scanner beneath the camera module.

As far as specifications are concerned, most of the key specs remain the same. The One X10 will come with an identical 5.5-inch Full HD display, but will be powered by less powerful 1.9GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6755 chipset with Mali T860 GPU, compared to 2.2GHz octa-core Mediatek MT6795 chipset on the One X9.

For purpose of multitasking, the device will come with 3GB of RAM and for saving media, apps and other important files it will come with 32GB of internal storage. No word on whether or not One X10 will come with support for microSD card.

When it comes to camera, HTC One X10 is said to come with an 16.3MP rear camera and 7.9MP front facing camera, compared to 13MP and 5MP sensors on the One X9, respectively.

No further details on when the device will be launched and made available, and what will be the price tag are revealed.
