Earlier today, HMD Global — the Finnish company that bragged exclusive rights of using Nokia's branding for the next 10 years officially announced Nokia's first Android smartphone called the Nokia 6. The smartphone comes with mid-range specs and is priced at 1699 CNY.

Recent report suggested that HMD Global will be launching total of 6 or 7 Nokia-branded smartphones including entry-level, mid-range and flagship devices by the end of 2017. Following the same news, specifications of upcoming entry-level Nokia smartphone called the Nokia E1 has been leaked online.

According to NPU, the upcoming Nokia E1 will be one of the cheapest smartphones launched by HMD this year. The smartphone is believed to be priced at around $150.


On the specifications front, Nokia E1 is said to come with a 5.2 / 5.3-inch HD display, 1.4GHz 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU, 2GB of RAM and run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Additional specifications include a 13MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front facing camera and 16GB internal storage with microSD card support.
