New Sony Xperia Z TV Ad Confirms the Launch of Xperia Z in India on March 2013
Sony is using the emotion of much-loved products from yesteryear as a basis for its new Xperia Z marketing campaign. Clips from the TV Advert include watching the Apollo launch on a Trinitron Television, Roller-Skating whilst listening to a Cassette Walkman, filming a Historic Moment such as the Fall of the Berlin Wall on a Sony Camcorder and Playing Gran Turismo on the Original PlayStation.
The Ad then moves to the present with the introduction of the Xperia Z in the middle of the Holi Festival in India. The festival Offers a great background to show off the handset’s features with its use of vivid colors, colored powder and water proving no problem for the Xperia Z. The Video was shooted in India. The venue was Galtaji Temple, Jaipur, India. Sony Took HOLI FESTIVAL for promoting Xperia Z in India. They Took HOLI as the Main Idea for Promoting Z because of the wide range of Colors used in this Festival. In the video we can see all of them playing with Colors & throwing them on each other & then suddenly a Auto-Rickshaw comes in which the Main Actor & Actress comes out & Play HOLI & Capture those Memories in Xperia Z. Then they Wash Xperia Z to show the waterproof Feature. Sony will be Launching Xperia Z in India on 7th March & Personally TechDroid is waiting from a Long Time.
According to the video & Sony, this Video TV Ad will be displayed over 20 Markets, Newspaper, TV, Print, Digital, Out-of-home & retail. Not only that the Video will be Live from March-2013. All the 3 Videos below were Shooted with Xperia Z, to show the Video Quality. And after seeing those I have decided to Buy the Xperia Z & yeah its Confirmed. Rajasthan, as we all Indians Know, is a Huge market for sharing the Items with lots of Colors variety in them. Rajasthan is the best market for knowing & sharing Indian Colors.
The video was directed by Tarsem Singh of Immortals fame and uses David Bowie’s ‘Sound and Vision’ track which has been remixed by Sonjay Prabhakar. See the video below along with another that shows actual video footage from the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL smartphones that were taken whilst filming of the ad took place.
