Samsung originally announced the fifth generation Galaxy S series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5 this year at MWC in Barcelona. The Korean giant at the event revealed that the smartphone will go on sale on April 11th globally. Now, Samsung has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on March 27th, where the company will be debuting the Galaxy S5 in the country.

Motorola to launch Moto X in India for Rs. 23,999, wood version to cost Rs. 25,999, goes on sale tomorrow in daytime

Flipkart was Motorola's exclusive partner for Moto G launch in India. The smartphone became Flipkart's most sold smartphone ever, and after getting huge success from Moto G, Motorola and Flipkart are back together with another launch. Flipkart has officially announced on Twitter that Moto X will go on sale in India starting tomorrow (i.e. March 19th, 2014) for Rs. 23,999.

Nokia to launch Nokia X in India on March 10th, listed online for Rs. 8,500

Nokia is soon going to launch its first ever Android phone in India. The company has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on March 10th, where the company will be announcing the Nokia X-series for the Indian market. Nokia X series consist of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. These smartphones were originally announced last month at MWC 2014, and are the first ever Android phones from the Finnish company.

Nokia has speeded up its operations for its upcoming Android smartphone, the Nokia Normandy. The smartphone seems to have touched down on Indian shores and is being given to the developers in the country and the company has told the developers that the smartphone will be launched around the IPL this year as Nokia will plan its marketing operations regarding the device around that time.

Micromax Canvas LapTab to launch in India under Rs. 30,000

The Canvas LapTab which Micromax unveiled last week at Consumer Electronic Show 2014 in Las Vegas will soon be landing in India. Micromax will be launching the Canvas LapTab, company's first dual-boot Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1 laptop and tablet hybrid in India next month. According to PTI, the Canvas LapTab will be priced under Rs. 30,000 ($500).

Samsung likely to launch Galaxy Grand 2 or Galaxy Ace 3 or both on December 23rd in India

Intex has officially announced that they have tied-up with MediaTek to launch the India's first smartphone featuring octa-core MT6592 processor. The MediaTek octa-core MT6592 processor was announced back in July, and according to Intex the processor is set to get launched worldwide this week. The MT6592 octa-core chip comes with eight cores, which can work simultaneously for exceptional multi-tasking.

XOLO has officially announced that, they will be launching a new smartphone in India before the end of this month. Dubbed as XOLO Q1000 Opus, the smartphone is the successor of XOLO Q1000 and will be the first XOLO smartphone to feature Broadcom chipset. The XOLO Q1000 Opus will come in only single-SIM variant and will feature HD display. 

Google Nexus 10 to launch in India soon, 16GB version to come for Rs. 29,999
