Samsung originally announced the fifth generation Galaxy S series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5 this year at MWC in Barcelona. The Korean giant at the event revealed that the smartphone will go on sale on April 11th globally. Now, Samsung has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on March 27th, where the company will be debuting the Galaxy S5 in the country.

Flipkart was Motorola's exclusive partner for Moto G launch in India. Nokia is soon going to launch its first ever Android phone in India. The company has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on March 10th, where the company will be announcing the Nokia X-series for the Indian market. Nokia X series consist of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL. These smartphones were originally announced last month at MWC 2014, and are the first ever Android phones from the Finnish company.

Nokia has speeded up its operations for its upcoming Android smartphone, the Nokia Normandy. The smartphone seems to have touched down on Indian shores and is being given to the developers in the country and the company has told the developers that the smartphone will be launched around the IPL this year as Nokia will plan its marketing operations regarding the device around that time.
In related to the news, @evleaks has posted a new picture on its twitter profile which confirms that the upcoming Android-powered Nokia smartphone, codenamed Normandy will be called Nokia X.

The Canvas LapTab which Micromax unveiled last week at Consumer Electronic Show 2014 in Las Vegas will soon be landing in India. Micromax will be launching the Canvas LapTab, company's first dual-boot Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1 laptop and tablet hybrid in India next month. The invite just says "New GALAXY Smartphone Launch", without giving any hint about the smartphone. Intex has officially announced that they have tied-up with MediaTek to launch the India's first smartphone featuring octa-core MT6592 processor. The MediaTek octa-core MT6592 processor was announced back in July, and according to Intex the processor is set to get launched worldwide this week. Google has finally planned to release all the Nexus devices (new/old) in India.
