After so many teasers and leaks, Micromax has officially unwrapped the Micromax Canvas 4 today in India at an event held in Delhi. The smartphone was already up for pre-order from 28th June onwards without pricing and specification details. Micromax has officially launched the Canvas 4 in India for a price tag of Rs. 17,999 which is a bit high, considering the specifications.
Micromax has included some special feature on the Canvas 4, like Blow to Unlock the device. The name defines itself, what we have to do is to just blow air on the screen and the device will be unlocked easily, we can also shake the device to unlock the smartphone.
Micromax has also included some new software features like Smart Pause, which actually is a Micromax version of Samsung's Smart Pause feature, it pauses the video when you look away from the phone and when you look back to the phone the video starts playing automatically. Micromax has also included a vertical panorama in camera app, video pinning to the home screen, which is similar to Samsung's Popup play, the feature will help you watch the video while doing multitasking with Flip to mute feature.
Regarding the specifications, Micromax's Canvas 4 frame is made up of aluminium and the rest of the body is made up of plastic. Canvas 4 features 5-inch HD IPS display with glove touch feature, 1.2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1GB and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean.

According to Micromax, the smartphone will be available with major retailer and company's e-store by weekend and the pre-order shipment will start from tomorrow. Those who are disappointed with Micromax Canvas 4 can easily cancel their order and take the refund money by clicking on Return Refund option, which is now available in the account order page.
