Nexus 7 II Images and Video Leaked with Specification Sheet, To pack Wireless Charging & SlimPort Support

Wow, the next-generation Nexus 7 is no more a secret. Some alleged images and video of this upcoming tablet have been leaked online. The tablet is expected to be unveiled later this month in San Francisco by Google, where Android Boss Sundar Pichai will be present. The event is scheduled for 24th July and is expected to showcase the awaited Nexus 7 II and rumoured Android 4.3 JB.

AndroidCentral got their hands on to some leaked listing of Nexus 7 II, which suggest that the 16GB version of Nexus 7 II is likely to be priced for $229, whereas the 32GB version will go for $269. 

In addition, Engadget also got their hands-on to some leaked listing, which shows that the Nexus 7 II will support wireless charging and slim port support. If the listing indeed is true, then Nexus 7 II will be the first tablet to come with wireless charging support. The leak also adds that the Nexus 7 II will pack SlimPort with support for 1080p output for playing HD contents.

Coming back to AndroidCentral again, the folks of AC got their hands over some internal documents from Officemax, which suggest that the retailer will get the first stock of Nexus 7 II on July 20th and they would probably put it on sale right after the official announcement.

In addition, someone gave AC the first look of the upcoming Nexus 7 II tablet. The follower sent out few images and video of the tablet to them. You can view the hands-on video of Nexus 7 II below.

According to the images, the Nexus 7 II will come with a 7-inch Full HD 1080p resolution display, 1.5GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro or 600 processor, 2GB or 4GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, 5MP rear camera with 1.2MP front facing camera, 3950mAh Battery and 16GB/32GB internal storage with upper and lower speakers.

Last but not the least, as per a leaked document of US-based retailer Staples, they will get the Nexus 7 II stock on July 24 itself and the tablet will be kept under lockup until 31st July.
