Sony i1 Honami Images and Specifications Leaks Again, Sony Lens G Tech on the back with 20MP Camera

Sony i1 Honami which was lost somewhere in the crowd is back in news again after a small nap. But this time with some interesting images and specifications details. First of all, a small intro to Honami, Sony i1 Honami is the much anticipated device from Sony. The device is company's best ever manufactured smartphone with lots of changes. The smartphone will come with an impressive 20MP rear camera with Sony Lens G Tech and will only be 8.3mm thick.

ePrice has leaked the back image of Sony Honami which confirms the device to carry 20.7MP rear camera with Sony G-Lens Tech. The 20.7MP rear camera will come with 1/2.3-inch image sensor, which is the same size sensor used in Samsung's Galaxy Camera. The smartphone will also come with BIONZ Image Processing System with 2MP front facing camera.

At the full resolution, the phone can apparently take 4:3 photos, with 16:9 going down to 2MP. We still don't know whether there will be some sort of pixel oversampling tech like in Nokia's PureView technology or not. But whatever it is, the device is confirmed to carry 20.7MP rear camera with only 8.3mm thickness.

ePrice has also revealed the rest of the specification of the device. According to them, the One Sony Honami will come with 5.0-inch Full HD TRILUMINOS display with X-Reality for mobile with sensor on lens display. The device will be powered by Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Other specifications include, 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot, 3000mAh Battery, IP57/IP58 watertight certification, LTE support, NFC, MHL and WiFi Miracast. The smartphone will come in three colour options, White, Black and Purple. 

Sony has already sent out press invites to tech press media for September 4th event at IFA Trade Fair 2013, where Sony will be unveiling the one Sony device, the Sony i1 Honami. In related, Sony is also working on a mini version of Sony Honami which will feature SD800 CPU.
