Sony i1 Honami System Dump Leaked, Reveals New UI, 20MP Camera with 4K Video Capture

We've recently seen the press renders of Sony Honami which were leaked from the System Dump of Honami. The images were brought in front of the world by XperiaBlog and now its XDA turn to show off their capability. Thanks to XDA Forum member krabappel2548 and ZeroInfinity for sharing almost all the system dump images of Sony Honami online.

The system dump were leaked from a Sony Canadian carrier device with model number C6906. It is not sure that whether C6906 related to Honami, but if it's not then it is another device in the same generation. The dump reveals some specifications with a new and improved UI. You can check out the images below.

First of all, the system dump aka build.prop confirmed these list of specs,
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor
  • 20MP rear camera (resolution - 5248x3936) with a new and record video at 4K (4000x2000) with aspect ratio of 2:1. Other camera features include, ISO (up to 12800) with a Steadyshot mode.
  • New Revamped UI
  • New Imaging Features.
The list include Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor with a whooping 20MP rear camera, with video recording at 4K (4000x2000) having 2:1 aspect ratio. The camera features include ISO upto 12800 with a steadyshot mode and new imaging features like Timeshift burst or we can say it as a glorified burst, which will help to shift back and forth in time to enjoy the best moments.

Sony has also included some new Xperia Camera adds-on like, Bokeh, Info-eye, Manual, Socialcast, Timeshift and Effect mode (Image below-refer from left to right.) The Info-eye is said to be somewhat similar to Nokia's HERE City Lens App, which gives you the information about the places you should visit and describes the object around you.

Its not the end, Sony has also included a all new Augmented Reality app, with screenshot mode which can be activated through the camera, with a new Walkman app with unlimited music streaming available. 

Coming to the end, Sony has revamped their UI with major tweaks and improvement. The images clearly shows the new launcher, app tray with new and revamped clock, album, conversations, calculator, phonebook, settings and calendar apps. There's also a new version of small apps with ability to place multiple apps on the screen at once. The images also shows off new notes and new keyboard with a new messaging app.

The smartphone is rumoured to be introduced officially on 4th July in Paris, where Sony is reported to launch the new version of Xperia Z Ultra with dedicated camera button and expected LED flash.
