8-inch Micromax Canvas Tab P650 with voice-calling support launched in India for Rs. 16,500

Micromax has officially launched the first tablet in Canvas series line-up today. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Tab P650, the tablet is priced for Rs. 16,500 and will be available in two colours, White and Blue. According to Micromax, the tablet is now available from all major retailers across India. Micromax Canvas Tab P650 will be competing with XOLO Tab, which was launched earlier this month for Rs. 13,499.

According to the press release issued by Micromax, Canvas Tab P650 features a 8-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, 5MP AF rear camera with 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with 32GB expandable using microSD card and 4,800 mAh battery. The tablet comes with 3G with calling support along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.

Micromax has also included few Canvas 4 features on Canvas Tab like, look away to pause, video pinning and pop-up browser. Micromax Canvas Tab also comes pre-loaded with Opera Mini, Spuul, Kingsoft Office, M!Live, M!Security, Music Hub and more.
