LG officially announces G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1 tablets; G Pad 7.0 specs leaked via AnTuTu

LG announced the G Pad 8.3 Android tablet last year in September. The G Pad 8.3 was referred as LG's comeback in the tablet industry. Now, after 8 months of unveiling the G Pad 8.3, LG has recently announced a new trio of tablets under the G Pad series. Judging by the display size, the new tablets are the G Pad 7.0, G Pad 8.0 and G Pad 10.1.

Samsung Galaxy Ace Style with 4-inch display, Android 4.4.2 KitKat officially announced

Samsung Galaxy Ace Style which was showcased in Germany last week is now official. Samsung has earlier today officially announced the Galaxy Ace Style via a press release. The Galaxy Ace Style is the first Samsung budget-Android smartphone to run on the latest iteration of Android, Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone comes in Cream White and Dark Gray colours and will be available globally starting this month.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 and Snapdragon 810 processor with 64-bit architecture announced

Qualcomm, the California based chip maker has been compared with challengers such as Intel, MediaTek and others with the launch of Snapdragon 800 chipset. The firm started gaining more and more attention with the advent of the Snapdragon 801 chipset early this year. Now, the vendor is back in headlines as they have announced a couple of new chipsets with 64-bit architecture.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, 8.0 and 10.1 with Android 4.4 KitKat, quad-core processor officially announced

After getting leaked online numerous of times, Samsung has today officially took the wraps off the Galaxy Tab4 series. Similar to Tab3 series, the Galaxy Tab4 series of tablets comes in 7-inch, 8-inch and 10.1-inch models. Samsung has officially announced two new smartwatches earlier today, which are very different from the original Galaxy Gear, not in terms of look, but in terms of software and features. Dubbed as Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, the devices runs on Samsung's own open-source OS Tizen, rather than Android, as rumoured. This is the reason why Samsung has ditched the Galaxy moniker, as it's no longer an Android device.

Both smartphones looks almost identical to each other and have pretty much the same weight and thickness, size of Note 3 Neo is 5.5-inch while the original Note 3 holds 5.7-inch screen.

LG G Pro 2 officially confirmed, to debut at MWC 2014 featuring 6-inch Full HD display, 3GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat

LG, the Korean electronics giant may not be doing well in the smartphone arena in India but it fares decently on the global arena. With smartphones becoming phablets, every manufacturer wants to introduce something that woos the audiences globally. LG will be stepping up to the occasion and will launch the LG G Pro 2 phablet at the MWC 2014 next month.

The company has today officially confirmed that they will be announcing the LG G Pro 2 next month at Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain. Unfortunately, the company has not shared any details on the specifications of the phablet.

Samsung officially announces Galaxy Tab 3 Lite with 7-inch display, dual-core processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Samsung has officially announced the long rumoured Galaxy Tab 3 Lite today via a press release. The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is reported to be the cheapest Galaxy tablet Samsung has ever made. The tablet comes in usual colours, black and white. Specifications of Tab 3 Lite are decent, no word on pricing and availability details yet.

Sony officially announces Xperia E1 with 4-inch display, Snapdragon 200 processor and 100Db speaker

Sony has also announced a new mid-range Android smartphone today, along with Xperia T2 Ultra. Dubbed as Sony Xperia E1, the smartphone is the successor of last year announced Xperia E. Similar to Xperia T2 Ultra, the Xperia E1 also comes in dual-SIM version with similar dual-SIM management technology. The Xperia E1 comes in three colours white, black and purple.

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra with 6-inch HD display, Snapdragon 400 processor officially announced

Sony has just now announced a new mid-range Android phablet. Dubbed as Sony Xperia T2 Ultra, the phablet sports a 6-inch display and mid-range specs. The Xperia T2 Ultra also comes in dual-SIM version, called as Xperia T2 Ultra Dual. The specifications of T2 Ultra Dual is similar to that of Xperia T2 Ultra.

LG officially announces its first fitness accessory, the LG Lifeband Touch

LG has officially announced its first smart wearable fitness accessory, the LG Lifeband Touch today. The device was leaked last week in an press image. The Lifeband Touch track user's movement in calorie consumption, number of steps, distance walked, workouts and runs. The fitness accessory is compatible with iOS and Android devices and need the presence of Bluetooth 4.0. LG's fitness app is also a must install in order to use the accessory.

Samsung officially announces Galaxy Camera 2 with 16.3MP camera sensor, 21x optical zoom lens and NFC support

Samsung has officially took the wraps off the next generation Galaxy Camera today. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Camera 2, the device comes with upgraded processor, new design, double RAM and more. The Galaxy Camera 2 comes in two colours, Black and White. Samsung will showcase the Galaxy Camera 2 at CES, which is starting from January 7th, 2014 in Las Vegas. No word on pricing and availability details yet. 

LG to roll out Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG G2 later this month in Korea

LG has been always late in bringing software updates to its Android smartphone (even flagships), but it looks like things have changed a bit. LG Korea has officially announced that they will be rolling out the latest Android OS update, Android 4.4 KitKat, for LG G2 in Korea later this month. The update is reported to get rolled out before the end of this month, the dates aren't yet revealed. 

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Sony Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra now rolling out

Sony has officially confirmed that they have started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Sony Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra starting today. The update is rolling out via OTA (over-the-air) and also via Sony's PC companion software. The update brings all the changes which Google introduced with the Android 4.3 update, along with several of Sony's own enhancement.

4.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Core Advance with physical keys, 1.2GHz processor announced

Samsung has officially announced a new mid-range smartphone in its ever-growing Galaxy series today. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Core Advance, the smartphone will be offered in Deep Blue and Pearl White colours, and will be commercially available globally in early 2014. A range of dedicated accessories that enhance Galaxy Core Advance's capability will also be available separately.

LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition official, the first Google Play Edition tablet to retail for $349

We have been hearing about the Nexus 8 from a long time, and even LG V510 was misunderstood as Nexus 8. But have a pause, the so-called LG V510 isn't actually a Nexus tablet, but a Google Play Edition of LG G Pad 8.3. LG has officially confirmed this and has officially announced the G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition today, making it the first Google Play Edition tablet.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 officially announced, comes with 64-bit Cortex A53 processor and LTE world-mode support

Qualcomm has officially announced its first 64-bit mobile chipset. Dubbed as Snapdragon 410, the chip is aimed at emerging markets aka designed for devices with sub-$150 (Rs. 9,000 approx) price tag. The Snapdragon 410 comes with LTE world-mode support, which includes support for both FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE and is based on ARM's Cortex A53 processor with 64-bit processing technology.

After getting listed on Samsung India eStore last week, Samsung has today officially launched the successor of original Galaxy S Duos in India. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, the smartphone is now officially available from Samsung India eStore for Rs. 10,990 in two colours, Black and White. According to Samsung, Galaxy S Duos 2 is now available from all the major mobile retailers across the country. 

LG G Flex global market roll out begins, to be available in key Asian countries starting this month

After officially announcing LG G Flex in October, LG has now officially announced that they are starting the global roll-out of G Flex starting this month, as early as next week. According to LG, the smartphone will initially be available in key Asian markets followed by other regions around the world. The G Flex will be first released in Singapore and Hong Kong, and then in other key Asian markets.

Samsung officially announces new colours for Galaxy Note 3: Rose Gold White, Rose Gold Black and Merlot Red

After Samsung Argentina unwillingly revealed the new colour options for the Galaxy Note 3, Samsung has now officially released a press release announcing all the three new colours of Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Note 3 which was launched this year in September, now comes with Rose Gold White, Rose Gold Black and Merlot Red option, in addition to already available Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink options.
