Moto X reported to get a price drop to $100 in Q4, wooden Moto X cover coming soon for $50

According to reliable leaker evleaks, Motorola might get down the price of Moto X to $100 in forth quarter of the year, which is exactly half of the price now. Evleaks didn't revealed any specific date of this price cut, but they pointed towards Q4 happening.

Currently in the U.S., the phone is available from AT&T and Verizon for $199.99 on-contract, and as per evleaks report, sometime in Q4 the phone will be available for $99.99 on-contract. 

The drop in price  could be possible due to customers who think the Moto X is too overpriced for the mid-range specifications it includes. Also, according to evleaks, the wooden covers for Moto X will be available in the fourth quarter for $50.
