LG G Pad 8.3 with 8.3-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 600 processor officially announced, to launch in Q4

LG has officially announced the rumoured and teased LG G Pad 8.3 tablet earlier today. LG G Pad 8.3 is referred as LG's come back in the tablet industry, as this is the first LG tablet after since the Honeycomb based LG Optimus Pad, which was launched way back in February 2011. The tablet is first one in the world to feature Full HD display on an 8-inch slate.

LG has officially announced the rumoured and teased LG G Pad 8.3 tablet earlier today. LG G Pad 8.3 is referred as LG's come back in the tablet industry, as this is the first LG tablet after since the Honeycomb based LG Optimus Pad, which was launched way back in February 2011. The tablet is first one in the world to feature Full HD display on an 8-inch slate.

Talking about the specifications, LG has stuffed G Pad 8.3 with high end specifications. LG G Pad 8.3 comes with an 8.3-inch WUXGA 1920x1200p resolution display with 273 ppi density, 1.7GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with LG's customized UI on top of it.

LG pre-loaded the tablet with many applications, like an updated version of QSlide, which lets you controls up to three different apps in one window with no interruption, especially convenient on a large screen. With Slide Aside, which enables seamless multitasking by simply "sliding" currently open apps off to the side using a three-finger swipe.

The KnockON feature turns the device on and off by tapping the display twice and using QPair, each call and message that appears on a smartphone will appear on the tablet as well.

The LG G Pad 8.3 will be rolled out globally in key markets including North America, Europe and Asia as well as other regions starting in the fourth quarter of 2013. Prices will be announced at launch time.
