The Micromax Canvas Magnus which was spotted yesterday on Snapdeal and Flipkart is now found listed on Micromax's official website. The Canvas Magnus is a mid-range Android smartphone from Micromax, which is soon going to get launched in India. The smartphone is currently available online on Snapdeal for Rs. 14,999, and comes in two colours White and Blue.
The Canvas Magnus comes with many smart gestures, like, look away to pause, answer a call simply by bringing the phone close to your ear, simply select the particular contact and bring the phone close to your ear to call, flip over the phone upside-down to put the phone in silent mode, flip over the phone to put your active call on speaker, slide your hand over the screen to unlock the phone and wave hand at the screen to click a photo.
Specifications-wise, the Canvas Magnus comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and 1GB RAM.
The smartphone also comes with 12MP AF rear camera with LED flash, 2MP FF front facing camera, 4GB internal storage (where 0.98GB for apps installation & 1.61GB for user data) with 32GB expandable using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery.
The smartphone is 9mm thick and comes with dual-SIM support (GSM+GSM) with dual standby feature. Connectivity series include 3G (42 Mbps HSDPA), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS/A-GPS.
