Micromax has officially announced that they have signed up Hollywood start Hugh Jackman as its new brand ambassador. Jackman will be seen endorsing the Canvas series of smartphones for Micromax, starting with Canvas Turbo. Micromax has officially released the first teaser video of it's upcoming smartphone Micromax Canvas Turbo featuring Hugh Jackman. The Canvas Turbo is company's first phone with Full HD display, and is expected to get announced before Diwali.
Serial Micromax leaker, MMXNewscaster has posted a sketch and a image of Canvas Turbo on it's twitter profile. The sketch reveals that, the Canvas Turbo will come with dual micro-SIM card slots on the left side, with volume rockers and power button on the right, micro-USB post on the top and 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom.
There will also be a 5MP front facing camera on the top right corner, along with 5-inch Full HD display. MMXNewscaster has also leaked a image of Canvas Turbo showing off it's rear camera part, revealing 13MP camera with dual-LED flash.
Micromax Canvas Turbo is expected to come with a 5-inch Full HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.2.1/4.3 Jelly Bean, 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. According to the video teaser images, the Canvas Turbo will be a mini Canvas Doodle 2 with minor hardware tweaks.
