Sony launched the Xperia Z1 f recently in Japan, which is the mini version of the flagship Xperia Z1. The Xperia Z1 f is the mini Xperia Z1 only for NTT DoCoMo (Telecom Operator) in Japan. Serial leaker evleaks has posted a photo of yet another variant of the phone, which according to them will be dubbed as Xperia Z1S.
The Xperia Z1S could actually be the Xperia Z1 f for rest of the world, international market. The Xperia Z1S is expected to get released before the end of this year. The source has also leaked a image of the smartphone, which is a bit different from the Xperia Z1 f.
There is no word on whether the specifications of Xperia Z1S will be similar to Xperia Z1 f or not, but if yes, then it won't be very different. The design of Xperia Z1S is very similar to the Xperia Z1.
Well, if this is Xperia Z1 f with another name, then it will feature 4.3-inch HD display, 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 20.7MP rear camera, 2.2MP front facing camera, 2,300 mAh battery, IP55/IP58 certification (dust and water resistance), WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac , Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GLONASS, MHL and NFC support.
