5-inch Sony Xperia C with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 1.2GHz processor now available in India for Rs. 19,699

Sony Xperia C which was spotted last week for pre-order is now available in India. The smartphone is currently available on Infibeam for Rs. 19,699, while the smartphone is on sale on Saholic for Rs. 20,490. Whereas, Flipkart is selling Xperia C for Rs. 20,450. The Xperia C comes in three different colour options, White, Black and Purple.

The impact of depreciation of rupee in the country can be clearly seen on the pricing of Xperia C. Sony is offering the smartphone with free Sony MDR-ZX100A headset worth Rs. 1,490. The smartphone will be competing with newly available HTC Desire 500, and already available Samsung Galaxy Grand.

Sony Xperia C comes with a 5-inch qHD display, 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Sony Xperia UI on top. The device is 8.88mm thick and weighs 153 grams.

Sony Xperia C also comes with 8MP rear camera with LED Flash & Exmor R sensor, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 4GB internal memory with 32GB expandable using microSD card and 2,330 mAh battery. The smartphone has dual-SIM support and 3G connectivity.
