Micromax has launched many flagship smartphones this year, starting from Canvas 4 to Canvas Turbo. If MMXNewscaster is believed to be true, then Micromax next flagship handset, probably the Micromax Canvas 5 will come with mind blowing specifications and best ever design. This is the first time we are hearing about Canvas 5, so don't take the specifications seriously, as they are not yet confirmed aka rumoured.
According to MMXNewscaster tweet, Canvas 5 will feature 5-inch Full HD (1920x1080p resolution) display with best ever Micromax design, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and 3,000 mAh battery.
The smartphone will be running on Android 4.2 or 4.3 Jelly Bean with fully customized user interface. It will be powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6589 chipset, which is the same found on newly announced Intex i17.
No information is available on camera mega-pixel, but you can expect Canvas 5 to come with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera with lots of software features.
