Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand last year, and recently the company launched its successor, Galaxy Grand 2 with faux leather back. According to SamMobile, Samsung is going to launch one more smartphone under Grand series, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite. The Galaxy Grand Lite is reported to get showcased next year at MWC 2014.
The smartphone will be first released in markets where dual-SIM phones are quite popular, such as India, China and Russia. On the specifications front, the Galaxy Grand Lite is expected to come with a 5-inch WVGA display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2/4.3 Jelly Bean.
The smartphone is also expected to feature 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot and 2,100 mAh battery.
