Motorola reported to launch Moto G in India in the last week of January
Motorola launched the Moto G officially last year in November, where the company announced that they will be bringing the Moto G in India in early-January 2014, but sadly it didn't happen. Now, TOI is reporting that Motorola will launch the budget-friendly, affordable Moto G in India in the last week of January. Moto G is Motorola's best affordable smartphone.
According to TOI report, Moto G will be launched in India in the last week of January. Motorola also has plans to launch the dual-SIM variant of the smartphone in India and Brazil this year. Motorola is partnering with an unknown distributor to launch the Moto G in India.
"Right now our plan is to announce Moto G in India with a partner in the last week of January," said Steve Sinclair, vice president of global marketing at Motorola Mobility.
There is no word on pricing details yet, but the smartphone is expected to get launched in India for around Rs. 13-15,000 (8GB version) and Rs. 17-19,000 (16GB version).
To remind you all, Moto G comes with a 4.5-inch HD edge-to-edge display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front facing camera, 8GB/16GB fixed internal storage and 2,070 mAh battery. Connectivity series include, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS.
