Sony has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Sony Xperia SP starting today. The update is currently rolling out in Australia only and carries a new firmware version number 12.1.A.0.266. Sony has started rolling out the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Sony Xperia SP starting today. The update is currently rolling out in Australia only and carries a new firmware version number 12.1.A.0.266. In related to the news, according to Sony's product page for the Xperia SP, the Android 4.4 KitKat update is "Under Investigation". The page previously listed the KitKat update as "Future Version", and soon after releasing the Jelly Bean update, Sony has started investigating the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Xperia SP.
