Motorola to launch Moto X in India for Rs. 23,999, wood version to cost Rs. 25,999, goes on sale tomorrow in daytime

Flipkart has officially announced on Twitter that Moto X will go on sale in India starting tomorrow (i.e. March 19th, 2014) for Rs. 23,999.

Flipkart was Motorola's exclusive partner for Moto G launch in India. The smartphone became Flipkart's most sold smartphone ever, and after getting huge success from Moto G, Motorola and Flipkart are back together with another launch. Flipkart has officially announced on Twitter that Moto X will go on sale in India starting tomorrow (i.e. March 19th, 2014) for Rs. 23,999.

Moto X

Originally announced way back in August, Motorola's Moto X comes with decent specifications and was the first smartphone to be made by Motorola under Google's ownership.

The smartphone, similar to Moto G, will be sold exclusively on Flipkart, but this time around Flipkart has decided to begin the sales in daytime, rather than in mid-night like they did with Moto G last month. Flipkart has also confirmed that only 16GB Moto X variant will be available in India for now. 

The smartphone will retail in India in five colour options - Black, White, Royal Blue, Cherry and Turquoise, along with two wood back variants, Teak and Walnut. Flipkart notes that the wood back variants of Moto X will be available for Rs. 25,999. And initially only White and Black verison will go on sale, with remaining three colour options will be on pre-order and will be delivered during the 2nd week of April.

Not only that, Flipkart has announced three incredible launch day offers for Moto X, these include -- 10 lucky customers will get 100 percent cash back on their Moto X, flat 70 percent off on Moto X cases with Moto X phone and Rs. 1000 cashback on purchase of Moto X on EMI.


If you are unaware, Moto X comes with a 4.7-inch HD AMOLED display, 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 10MP ClearPixel (RGBC) rear camera, 2MP front facing camera, 2GB RAM and 2,200 mAh battery. The Moto X launching in India will be a single SIM variant and will come with Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with 16GB of fixed in-built storage. 

Connectivity series include, Bluetooth 4.0 LE+EDR, WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac (dual band capable), WiFi hotspot and 4G with NFC, USB 2.0 and Miracast. The company has added en-numbers of features on Moto X, these include, Touch-less Control, Active Display, Quick Capture and more.
