Earlier this month, HTC One (M8) Ace came up in a leaked press render showing its red face and now, a new media report sheds more light revealing some details of the unannounced handset. According to an Engadget report citing trusted sources, the One (M8) Ace will come packed with an impressive feature set including a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display and a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

Though the specs appear to be identical to One (M8), both the phones are sure to be different in their build as the flagship is constructed using aluminum while the One (M8) Ace is expected to be built using plastic.

The news regarding a plastic variant of M8 may be not exciting for many, but its pricing is sure to get consumers on their heels. Well, the handset clad in plastic will definitely be much cheaper than the flagship phone and TMTPost has tipped that the device will be priced at $480, which is ~Rs. 29,000.

Though we have heard and also seen the HTC One (M8) Ace couple of times, the handset is still making rounds in rumors and there is no practical evidence for the existence of the device. Definitely, it appears pretty strange for the Taiwanese tech firm to release a plastic variant of One (M8) while it is constantly boasting itself for the aluminum frame that is its major selling point.

But, one has to make sure that the plastic clad phone from HTC resembles the Galaxy S5 in terms of specifications revealed so far and hence, the firm could be planning to compete with the South Korean vendor with this gossiped handset.
