Since long, HTC has been striving hard to stay buoyant in the smartphone industry, but the vendor seems to be failing in almost every step it has taken to beat its rivals. The Taiwanese firm is constantly taking aspiring steps to emerge as a winner by releasing more and more smartphones with innovations. This year, HTC made a great debut for its flagship device – HTC One (M8) with Duo Camera and other attractive aspects.

Now, the vendor is all set to announce a couple of new variants of the handset to quench the needs of a wider consumer base.

HTC One (M8) Ace

Of the duo, the miniature variant of the flagship – HTC One (M8) Mini is confirmed by a UK retailer and it is gossiped to hit the retail shelves in May. The smartphone is said to incorporate the same 90% uni-body aluminium design.

Going by the earlier rumors, the handset could sport a 4.5-inch HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, 16GB of on-board storage that is expandable, 1GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front camera besides running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6.0 on top.

But that is not all! There is some interesting information about the other phone – HTC One (M8) Ace as well.

An alleged press render of the One (M8) Ace has been leaked online by the serial leakster @evleaks. As per the image, the HTC One (M8) Ace resembles the One (M8) and it has rounded edges as well. In the leaked render, the display appears to be blurred, but is clear that the handset features Sense 6.0 UI. Featuring a red color theme, there are rumors that the device could be a cheaper variant of the flagship model.

This is not the first time we are hearing about the HTC M8 Ace, @evleaks mentioned about the same soon after HTC announced the flagship One (M8), on its Twitter profile. No more information is available as of now. Since, the leaks have just started flowing, expect to here more about the HTC M8 Ace and M8 Mini in the coming weeks.
