HTC One (M8) with 5-inch Full HD display, Duo Camera, BoomSound speakers launched in India for Rs. 49,900

HTC earlier today at an press event in New Delhi has announced the launch of it's latest flagship smartphone, the HTC One (M8) in India. The One (M8) is the successor of last year announced HTC One (M7). The smartphone was originally announced last month at an private event held in NYC by HTC. HTC One (M8) comes in three colours which include Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold and is priced at Rs. 49,900.

HTC earlier today at an press event in New Delhi has announced the launch of it's latest flagship smartphone, the HTC One (M8) in India. The One (M8) is the successor of last year announced HTC One (M7). The smartphone was originally announced last month at an private event held in NYC by HTC. HTC One (M8) comes in three colours which include Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold and is priced at Rs. 49,900.

According to HTC, the smartphone will be available across India starting from first week of May. HTC has also launched the unique HTC Dot View cover in India for Rs. 2,499. HTC has stuffed the M8 with many cool features such as Motion Launch, Extreme Power Saving Mode and more. To know more about these features click here.

Coming to specifications, HTC One (M8) comes with a 5-inch Full HD Super LCD 3 display, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with HTC Sense 6.0 user-interface. The One (M8) is 9.35mm thick and weighs 160 grams.

Other specifications include Duo Camera (4MP UltraPixel primary + depth capturing secondary camera) with dual-LED flash, 5MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with up to 128GB supported microSD card slot and 2,600 mAh battery.

Connectivity series include Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 3G HSPA+, DLNA, MHL, GPS with GLONASS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and HTC Connect. It supports IR remote control for TV use too. HTC has also revealed that the One (M8) comes with support for Indian LTE bands. As soon as 4G LTE support are widely available in the country, HTC will update the One (M8) with 4G support.
