Last week we came across Moto G Forte, which seemed to be the rugged version of Moto G. Now, Motorola has officially listed the smartphone on its Mexico website. Moto G Forte is actually a Moto G with a Grip Shell pre-fitted. The smartphone is now available in Mexico from local telecom operator Nextel. There is no word on whether Moto G Forte will be released in other markets.
Moto G Grip Shell is an accessory for Moto G, which has a rubberised frame to improve your grip and protect the phone from bumps and drops. The Grip Shell is already available in India for Rs. 999 from Flipkart.
The specifications and features of Moto G Forte are similar as Moto G. It comes with a 4.5-inch HD edge-to-edge display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The smartphone also comes with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front facing camera, 8GB/16GB internal storage and 2,070 mAh battery. Connectivity series include, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS.
