Courtesy of the good folks back at TK Tech News, we now have some more information about the first smartwatch from HTC. It will be called the HTC One Wear and will run on Android Wear by Google. It will be launched in late August or early September in all likelihood. It is believed to come with a rounded off design like the Moto 360 and will feature a similar design philosophy.

The rumoured HTC One Wear smartwatch will be launched in two build quality materials with similar internals. One will be a metal unit and the other one will be a Polycarbonate unit. Samsung also has two variants of its smartwatch which are namely the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo.

HTC was mentioned as one of the partners of Android Wear and while Motorola and LG have announced their counterparts, Samsung and HTC are yet to make an official announcement regarding their smartwatches running on Android Wear.
