As promised, LAVA has officially launched a new budget-Android smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as LAVA Iris X1, the smartphone is company's first phone running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Iris X1 comes with decent set of specifications and will be competing tough with the newly launched Micromax Unite 2 and Moto E. LAVA Iris X1 comes in black and white colours and is priced at Rs. 7,999.
The smartphone is now available exclusively from Amazon.in (Black & White). LAVA is offering free 16GB Ultra Micro SD card to those who order the X1 on May 27th. The smartphone also comes with a free Flip cover, which puts the phone to sleep mode when closed.
On the specifications front, LAVA Iris X1 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor, Videocore IV GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Iris X1 is 8.9 mm thick and weights 138 grams.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 1,800 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS.
