With the launch of Moto E in the Indian market, many Indian smartphone vendors are trying their level best to bring even more affordable smartphones with attractive specifications. LAVA has revealed that it will soon launch a new budget-Android smartphone in India running Android 4.4 KitKat. Dubbed as LAVA Iris X1, the smartphone will be released under new Iris X series.
According to LAVA, the Iris X1 will be priced below Rs. 8,000. The design and aesthetics of the smartphone will be based on the stunning Iris Pro series launched by the company recently. The smartphone is expected to be launched in the coming days.
On the specifications front, LAVA Iris X1 will come with a 4.5-inch IPS display of unknown resolution, 8MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, front facing camera and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. LAVA has not revealed any other specifications of the device yet.
“Riding on the success of its Iris Pro series, Lava is really upbeat about this offering and plans to launch the phone in the next few days with a pan India 360 degree marketing campaign,” says LAVA.
