Samsung is preparing an all new top of the line tablet in the form of the Galaxy Tab S and looks like the device has just had its live images leak on to the interweb. Seeing the fact that it will be a flagship tablet from Samsung, it will feature a textured back like its current flagship smartphone Galaxy S5. The tablet has also been surfaced on FCC revealing more images. The FCC images show the Tab S from every angle.
The bezel of the tablet will be pretty less and it is rumoured to come with a fingerprint scanner like the S5 which will allow the users to unlock the tablet, login to multiple accounts, authenticate PayPal purchases and a slew of other things. There are two dots on the back of the device, which according to SamMobile are proprietary connectors for Samsung's upcoming book cover.
Coming to what the hardware of the device will have on offer, it will come with a 10.5-inch / 8.4-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA display unit and will get an octa-core Exynos 5420 SoC under the hood which comes with four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz Magazine UI on top of it.
Imaging department will be taken care of by an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera. It will get coupled with a 3GB RAM. Talking about the connectivity features on offer, it will get Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 LE / ANT+, 4G LTE, GPS, GLONASS and IR blaster.
