The competition has Retina display so it was time that Samsung did something that takes Apple’s offerings head on. Under the hood will be an Exynos 5 (5420) Octa-core processor which is found on the Indian Galaxy S5. It has four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores. GPU will be a 6-core ARM Mali-T628 with a clock speed of 533MHz. To give you a fluidic experience while multitasking, it will come with a 3GB of RAM.

At the back will be an 8MP snapper and the front will get a 2.1MP unit. It will get Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 LE / ANT+, GPS, GLONASS, IR blaster and a microUSB 2.0 port for connectivity.

It will run on the latest software version, Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung Magazine UX or Samsung's TouchWiz UX and will come with a lot of tablet-specific functionalities.
