HTC One (M8)

According to recent report by HTCSoku, HTC is prepping a new premium smartphone with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display boasting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The handset is reportedly said to be in development and it is speculated to be announced sometime in September.

The purported smartphone is claimed to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor with multimode modem and RF transceiver chip technology.

It is believed to pack 3GB of RAM instead of the 2GB RAM in the flagship model and the native storage capacity is said stand at 16GB. The device is also claimed to come with USB 3.0 port and similar Duo camera set up found on the original flagship, with 18MP depth capturing secondary camera and a 5MP UltraPixel sensor as a main unit.

If the rumors surrounding the HTC One (M8) Prime turn out to be true, the smartphone is said to offer a tough competition to the other rumored Quad HD smartphones including the Galaxy S5 Prime and the LG G3.
