Micromax has silently started selling a new Canvas series smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas Beat, the smartphone was originally introduced earlier this year in Russia along with Canvas Social. The smartphone comes in black colour and is now available from online retailer HomeShop18 for Rs. 9,499.
Along with Canvas Beat, the Micromax Unite, which was spotted last week on company's official website is also available in India from online retailer Flipkart for Rs. 6,250. The smartphone comes in Black and White.
Talking about the specifications, the Micromax Canvas Beat comes with a 5-inch qHD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The smartphone is 8.6mm thick and weights 144 grams.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 1,900 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP and GPS.
On the other hand, the Micromax Unite comes with a 4-inch WVGA IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor, 1GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with dual-SIM support.
Other specifications include an 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 1,500 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
