So long, Motorola was tight-lipped in revealing the details regarding the Moto 360 smartwatch, but an Italian blogger managed to get the hands-on the Moto 360. Following the same, the blogger has revealed a fresh set of snaps along with a slew of enticing features of Moto 360 such as wireless charging, optical heart rate sensor and more.
Of these series of pictures, one of them shows the charging dock of the Moto 360 and it is reminiscent to the Nexus 4 wireless charger, but with a slight round shape. The blogger Luca Viscardi claims that the wireless charger of the smartwatch is sleek wand more different than those of other Android Wear smartwatches.
The Moto 360 has a Qi wireless charging interface that will work with wireless chargers of Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 as well. The battery life of the Moto 360 appears to be longer than that of the LG G Watch as per the review as it has lasted for over two days under intense usage. However, it is said that the device is not fully functional.
Moreover, on comparing the Moto 360 with the other Android Wear based smartwatches such as Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch, it is said that the display is brighter and easy to read. This is a noteworthy aspect as it helps the device to render a long battery life.
The back of the Moto 360 smartwatch has the following inscriptions: Moto 360, Stainless Steel 316L, Optical Heart Rate Sensor, Wireless Charging, Pedometer and Water Resistant IP67 that make the device pretty interesting and impressive.
On comparing the dimensions of the LG and Moto offerings, it is stated that the Moto 360 is not as large as it was exaggerated to be. Also, the band is replaceable and uses a standard mechanism hinting that it is not proprietary to Motorola.
