At the Double Exposure event, HTC
not only unleashed the RE Camera and Desire Eye smartphone, but also unveiled the
new Eye Experience mobile imaging software. HTC claims that this software will
render an all new level of experience to the users. This suite of imaging software
comes with several improvements and applications that will be made available to
the other HTC smartphones as well.
The software comes with features such as Auto and Voice Selfie that will assist users to click a selfie by raising their phone or giving a voice command, enhanced group video calls that will render better video chatting experience with features such as Face Tracking, Screen Share and others, Crop Me In to put themselves in a photo, Split Capture to take images or video using both the cameras simultaneously, Face Fusion to fuse two faces into a single photograph, Live Makeup to beautify while capturing a selfie and Photo Booth to capture four consecutive photos in one snap and add a retro effect.
Besides the Eye Experience, HTC
also announced the Zoe video sharing and editing tool that is the stable
version. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and an iOS version of
the same is believed to launch by the year-end. The Zoe 1.0 is compatible with
most of the Android smartphones based on v4.3 and above.
