The Oppo N3 launch is slated to happen on October 29th that is not too far away. Now, the company has started revealing more details about the device by means of teaser photos and a video. Earlier this week, the vendor posted one such teaser on Facebook showing the back of the device revealing the presence of the much anticipated rotating camera module, but more stylish this time.

As you can see in the image above, Oppo is likely to have given a faux leather finish at the back with a single piece of metal in the middle around the camera module and dual LED flash.

Furthermore, the teaser reveals that the swivel rotating camera will be capable of rotating up to 206 degrees. The phone is said to arrive in three color variants which include Pink, White and Cyan and feature either a stainless steel or an aluminum lithium alloy body.

Another teaser was also revealed by the Chinese vendor on its Facebook page with the caption ‘A True Head Turner’ along with a video. This teaser shows that the camera module will arrive with tiny motors for automatic rotation instead of twisting the module manually as in the N1.

Also, the Oppo N3 details have been revealed by the company’s CEO through Weibo post confirming the existence of a 16MP camera on the device with 1/2.3-inch sensor to render high quality images. A comparison image was posted comparing the Oppo N3 sensor size with those of the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 having 1/2.6-inch sensors that are 28% smaller than the one in the Oppo offering. Also, the sensor size is compared with those of the iPhone 6, HTC One (M8) and original Oppo N1.

Furthermore, another Weibo post reveals a live photo of the Oppo N3 showing a fingerprint scanner on at the back of the smartphone. This makes it a challenger to the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4 and others that arrive with fingerprint scanners on-board. The presence of fingerprint scanner on the N3 is also confirmed by Oppo itself in its latest teaser image (below).

Lastly, a Chinese phone shop has spilled the beans on a few specs of the Oppo N3. As per an ad board posted in front of the shop, the N3 will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display rather than 5.9-inch one and will come with 16MP camera sensor, which comes as no surprise. The price of N3 is said to be 4298 Yuan which translates to around $700 or Rs. 43,000. The device is likely to employ a Snapdragon 805 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM.

We will get to know more about the device once the handset is launched officially on October 29th. So, stay tuned.
