Entry-level Samsung SM-J100F spotted on GFXBench website revealing specifications
Lately, Samsung announced that it will be cutting down on the number of smartphone models that it will be launching in the next year. But, almost every now and then we are witnessing leaks regarding new models revealing their possible specifications tipping that they are in works. The latest one that has got leaked is the Samsung SM-J100F that tips that the vendor is prepping an all new Galaxy J lineup of smartphones.
Though it is not confirmed, a new report that has spotted the leaked benchmark of the J100F arrives at a conclusion of the moniker from the Galaxy A device, all having A in their model numbers. May be, the previously leaked SM-E500F smartphone could then be the Galaxy E lineup.
Talking of the leaked specifications of the SM-J100F, the smartphone would arrive with Android 4.4.4 KitKat and come bestowed with a 4.8-inch WVGA display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
The device is likely to incorporate a 64-bit quad core Marvell PXA1908 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device is said to use a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera, both with support for Full HD 1080p video shooting.
The Galaxy J handset is likely to bundle 4GB of native storage capacity and connectivity features including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. From these specifications, it is pretty clear that this new smartphone could be a low end offering.
If this report is to be believed, Samsung could launch a new lineup called Galaxy J in order to restructure its portfolio in the next year.
