OnePlus One with 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 801 Soc, 3GB RAM launched in India for Rs. 21,999
As expected, Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has officially launched the OnePlus One aka the flagship killer smartphone in the Indian market. OnePlus has priced the One at just Rs. 21,999 and the smartphone comes in Sandstone Black color variant. The OnePlus One is exclusively available for purchase via Amazon.in starting today, if you have India specific-invites.
OnePlus has already started the registration process to get the India specific invite to purchase the OnePlus One. Those interested can apply for invites on OnePlus’ India website. OnePlus has also revealed that they will introducing pre-order system in the country soon.
Furthermore, OnePlus announced that it will be providing full warranty coverage to the existing OnePlus One users in India. OnePlus has partnered with HCL in order to provide service support for One in the country. The manufacturer has also announced that the accessories which include Flip Cover, Bamboo StyleSwap Cover and Silver Bullet earphones will be available for purchase via Amazon starting today.
On the specifications front, the OnePlus One includes a 5.5-inch Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels translating to 401 ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and it runs on CyanogenMod 11S based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP front snapper, 64GB of internal storage and 3,100 mAh battery. The smartphone measures 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weights 162 grams. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G) 802.11 b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS/GLONASS.
