OnePlus has revealed that the smartphone will be available exclusively from Amazon India starting December 2nd. The company has also started the registration process to get the India specific invite to purchase the OnePlus One. Those interested can apply for invites on OnePlus’ India website.

OnePlus has appointed Vikas Agarwal as the General Manager of OnePlus India, this marks India as the first market for OnePlus One where a localized service infrastructure is established. The company will be setting up service centres in the country soon, no specific details are available at this point.

The company has not yet revealed the final pricing of OnePlus One, but as per previous reports the smartphone will be priced at around Rs. 25,000 in the country for the 64GB Sandstone Black variant and hence, we can expect it to lure potential buyers looking for mid-range offerings.

Furthermore, OnePlus announced that it will be providing full warranty coverage to the existing OnePlus One users in India. This was announced by Vikas Agarwal on the OnePlus Forum to those Indian users of the OnePlus One global variant. However, it should be noted that only the global variant of the handset is subjected to warranty coverage and not the Chinese model.

On the specifications front, the OnePlus One includes a 5.5-inch Full HD display that boasts a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels translating to 401 ppi pixel density, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB of RAM and it runs on CyanogenMod 11S based on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP front snapper, 64GB of internal storage and 3,100 mAh battery. The smartphone measures 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm and weights 162 grams. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G) 802.11 b/g/n/ac, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS/GLONASS.
