Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro and Lenovo P90 with 64-bit processor official at CES 2015

On Monday, at the CES 2015, Lenovo unveiled the Vibe X2 Pro and Lenovo P90 smartphones. The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro is the upgraded variant of Vibe X2 and its pricing is not disclosed while it is claimed to be released in April. Same way, the price tag of the P90 is also not announced and it will debut on sale starting from February.

On Monday, at the CES 2015, Lenovo unveiled the Vibe X2 Pro and Lenovo P90 smartphones. The Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro is the upgraded variant of Vibe X2 and its pricing is not disclosed while it is claimed to be released in April. Same way, the price tag of the P90 is also not announced and it will debut on sale starting from February.

Talking about the Vibe X2 Pro, the handset features the same iconic layered design as the original model and is based on Android 4.4 KitKat topped with Vibe 2.0 UI. The smartphone is given a larger 5.3-inch Full HD IPS display and employs a 1.5GHz octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset alongside 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB of native memory capacity in the smartphone along with support for additional storage with the help of a microSD card.

The rear camera on the Vibe X2 Pro is a 13MP sensor that is teamed up with LED flash and other standard aspects. Also, there is a 13MP auto focus front facing selfie camera for video conferencing and clicking great selfies as in the HTC Desire Eye. But, the lack of LED flash at the front is a notable aspect. Other goodies of the Vibe X2 Pro include a 2,410 mAh battery and 4G LTE (Cat 4) connectivity.

Furthermore, Lenovo announced Vibe Extension that is the additional flash extension that can be plugged into the 3.5 mm headphone port of Vibe X2 Pro. With this extension, users can click picture perfect selfies as it comes with eight diffused LEDs. And, the handset has been announced in Champagne Gold, Rock Pink and Electric Blue color variants.

On the other hand, Lenovo P90 boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display and it is also fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat. The device is acclaimed as it is the first smartphone to arrive with a 64-bit Intel chipset onboard.

The handset is incorporated with a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor teamed up with Intel XMM 7262 modem enabling LTE-Advanced FDD/TDD connectivity. The P90 also comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of default storage.

The Lenovo P90’s imaging department makes use of a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing snapper. The device carries the highlight of being equipped with a juicy 4,000 mAh battery. Lenovo has let out this smartphone in a slew of color options such as Pearl White, Lava Red and Onyx Black.
