After getting leaked online via brochure last month, Samsung has now officially unveiled the latest Grand series smartphone in South Korea. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Grand Max, the smartphone comes in white colour option and is priced at 319,000 South Korean Won, which translates to US $296 / Rs. 18,210 approx.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Grand Max will be released on all three major carriers in South Korea. The smartphone is now available for purchase from official Samsung Online Store in Korea. There is no word on global roll-out of Grand Max yet.
On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy Grand Max comes with a 5.25-inch HD TFT display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 probably), 1.5GB RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The smartphone measures 146 x 74.8 x 7.9 mm and weighs 161 grams.
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facing camera with 120-degree wide viewing angle, 16GB internal storage with expandable using microSD card and 2,500 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE Cat4 / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
