The update is rolling out over-the-air everywhere and brings the all new Android 5.0 Lollipop taste with the same HTC Sense 6.0 on top. As always, the update is being released in a phased manner, so it might take sometime to reach on your smartphone, if not already available.

You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates. The Lollipop update for the One (M8) in India weights 574.17MB in size, while the same weights 650MB and 780MB in Malaysia and Europe respectively.

There is no word on when HTC plans to update the original HTC One (M7) to Android 5.0 Lollipop, but it is expected to follow soon.
