Intex Aqua Star L running Android 5.0 Lollipop launched in India for Rs. 6,990

Intex has quietly launched a new budget Android smartphone in the Indian market dubbed as Intex Aqua Star L. The Intex Aqua Star L is the first smartphone from an Indian vendor to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. XOLO was the first Indian vendor to provide Lollipop update to two of its smartphones, and not launch it pre-installed.

Intex has quietly launched a new budget Android smartphone in the Indian market dubbed as Intex Aqua Star L. The Intex Aqua Star L is the first smartphone from an Indian vendor to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. XOLO was the first Indian vendor to provide Lollipop update to two of its smartphones, and not launch it pre-installed.

Intex Aqua Star L comes in black and white colours. According to Intex, the Aqua Star L will be exclusively available from online retailer Snapdeal starting 16th February for Rs. 6,990.

On the specifications front, Intex Aqua Star L comes with a 5-inch FWVGA Fully Laminated IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM support.

Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and GPS.
