64GB variant of Xiaomi Mi 4 launched in India, to go on sale starting 24th February
Xiaomi in a surprising move has officially announced the launch of the 64GB variant of Mi 4 smartphone in the Indian market recently. Xiaomi launched the 16GB variant of Mi 4 in India last month costing Rs. 19,999. Now, Xiaomi has announced that the 64GB variant of Mi 4 will be available in India starting February 24th exclusively on Flipkart.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB variant is whoopingly priced at Rs. 23,999, which is Rs. 4,000 costlier than the 16GB variant, which indeed is already over priced. The Xiaomi Mi 4 64GB launched in India comes with 3G HSPA+ connectivity, no 4G LTE support. The smartphone comes in only white colour.
Talking about the specifications, Xiaomi Mi 4 comes with a 5-inch Full HD IPS OGS display with 441 ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v6 on top. The smartphone is 8.9mm thick and weights 149 grams.
Other specifications include a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, a 8MP front facing camera, 64GB internal storage and 3,080 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS / GLONASS. The smartphone also comes with support for Infra-red sensor and nano-coating.
