Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy J1, the smartphone was originally introduced last month and is a addition in its new J series of smartphones. Samsung has launched the Galaxy J1 in India in Black, White and Blue colours.

Samsung has officially announced the launch of a new entry-level smartphone in the Indian market. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy J1, the smartphone was originally introduced last month and is a addition in its new J series of smartphones. Samsung has launched the Galaxy J1 in India in Black, White and Blue colours.

The Galaxy J1 is exclusively available from online retailer Amazon India for Rs. 7,190. As an introductory offer, the Galaxy J1 comes with several offers which include free streaming and premium content on StarSports.com worth Rs. 1,400 for 3 months and free 500MB 2G / 3G data per month for 6 months for Aircel and Reliance customers worth Rs. 600.

On the specifications front, Samsung Galaxy J1 comes with a 4.3-inch FVGA display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone measures 129 x 68.2 x 8.9mm and weights 122 grams.

Other specifications include an 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable up to 64GB using microSD card and 1,850 mAh battery with ultra saving mode. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
