LG has officially announced the successor of last year's G3 Beat. Dubbed as LG G4 Beat, the smartphone is a cheaper alternative of the original LG G4. The LG G4 Beat retains the best features and functions of the LG G4, delivering value without compromising performance or usability, says LG.
LG G4 Beat comes in three color options including Metallic Silver, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold. According to LG, the LG G4 Beat will make its debut this month in Europe and Latin America, including France, Germany and Brazil followed by Canada, India, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Turkey and other markets.
LG has not revealed the exact pricing and availability details of the device. Prices and details of availability will be announced locally at the time of launch, notes the company in press release.
When it comes to specifications, LG G4 Beat (a.k.a LG G4s in Europe and CIS region) will come with a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with 423 ppi pixel density, 1.5GHz 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, Adreno 405 GPU, 1.5GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The smartphone measures 142.7 x 72.6 x 9.85 mm and weights 139 grams. On the imagining front, LG G4 Beat packs in a 8MP rear camera (13MP in Latin America) with LED flash and Laser Auto Focus, along with 5MP front facing camera for video chatting and clicking selfies.
The smartphone also comes with Color Spectrum Sensor to measure the exact RGB and infrared values of ambient light and objects, resulting in colors that are truer to nature, Manual Mode to give users fine control over every detail of a shot, including shutter speed, ISO, exposure and white balance and Gesture Interval Shot.
Other specifications include 8GB internal storage with microSD card support, 2,300 mAh battery, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS and Glonass support.
