Along with Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi has also announced the successor to Mi 4i at a launch event in Beijing, China. Called Xiaomi Mi 4s, the smartphone bridges the gap between mid-range and high-end smartphones with its powerful specs and affordable price. The Mi 4s sits somewhere between Mi 4 and Mi 5.

Xiaomi has also revealed that it will launch a special Pink edition Mi 4s just for ladies. The Xiaomi Mi 4s comes with a new metal frame and has glass panels covering both sides of the device. The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor, which is located on the back of the phone. There's also an infrared sensor on the top, used for controlling compatible devices.

On the specifications-front, the Xiaomi Mi 4s comes with a 5-inch Full HD IPS fully laminated display with 441 PPI density, 64-bit Hexa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with Adreno 418 GPU, 3GB RAM for multitasking and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on MIUI 7.
The device comes with hybrid dual-SIM support (nano + microSD / micro SIM) measuring 139.26 x 70.76 x 7.8mm and weighs 133g. About camera, the Mi 4s comes with a 13MP rear sensor with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF autofocus, which is accompanied by a 5MP front facer with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide-angle lens.
Other specifications include, 64GB internal storage with expandable memory using microSD card and 3260mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support. Finally in-terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C.
