Update: OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus 3 will be only available in two colors - Graphite and Soft Gold. The company is not working on Red or Green color OnePlus 3.
Original Story: OnePlus launched its flagship smartphone the OnePlus 3 on June 14th. During the launch OnePlus announced that the smartphone will be made available in Graphite color initially, followed by Soft Gold color in July. Though it turns out that OnePlus might soon launch the OnePlus 3 in two additional colors: Red and Green (Teal to be specific).
OnePlus 3 in Red color was first spotted on company's Chinese website. The device was listed for a very short while before being pulled, but not before The Malignant managed to grab a screenshot and share on his Twitter profile.
The red version of OP3 matches with the red and white charging cable, provided by the company. The green version on the other hand is something new and looks attractive. We are not sure how this one looks like in real life.
The pictures reveal that both the devices retain the black antenna bands on the back and black front panel. There is no word on when OnePlus plans to release the red and green color options for OnePlus 3, and whether or not the devices will actually make out in the market. And if they do, then will they be China exclusive or be widely available.
If you are unaware, OnePlus 3 is priced at Rs. 27,999 in India, $399 in the US and 399 Euros in Europe. The device is available sans invite from Amazon India.
On the specifications front, OnePlus 3 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, 2.15GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 6GB RAM and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Oxygen OS 3.1 on top. The device measures 152.7 x 74.7 x 7.35mm and weights 158 grams.
Other the imaging front, the device comes with an 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.12μ pixel, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, OIS, 4K video recording at 30FPS and HD slow motion at 120FPS along with an 8MP front-facing camera with 1.4μ pixel and f/2.0 aperture.
Other specifications include 64GB fixed internal storage (UFS 2.0), 3,000mAh battery with Dash Charging Support, Fingerprint sensor (unlocks in <0.2 secs), metal build, Dual nano-SIM slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE support, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C.
