Flipkart confirmed to launch its own branded tablets on June 26th

Last week we reported that Flipkart, the leading e-commerce retailer in India is all set to launch its own branded tablets under the brand name DigiFlip. Now, according to BGR India, Flipkart has started sending out press invites to the Indian tech press media for attending an event on June 26th, where the Indian retailer giant will launch its own tablets under its own DigiFlip brand. It already sells a wide range of electronic and computer accessories including speakers, headphones and pen drives under the DigiFlip brand name.

Leading e-commerce retailer Flipkart appears to be geared up in launching its own tablets under the brand named DigiFlip. According to a report by The Economic Times, the retailer will soon be launching its own tablet brand very soon. So long, Flipkart had been selling a wide range of electronic and computer accessories including speakers, headphones and pen drives under this brand. But, the report claims that manufacturing their own tablets is way too different from selling accessories.
