Micromax Canvas Knight with 5-inch Full HD display, 2GHz octa-core processor, 16MP camera officially launched in India for Rs. 19,999

Last month we reported that Micromax is planning to launch its latest flagship phone, the Micromax Canvas Knight in India in the coming days. Today, the company has officially launched the Canvas Knight in India. The Canvas Knight comes in Black, White & Gold and Black & Gold colours and is priced at Rs. 19,999. According to Micromax, the smartphone will be exclusively available from the company's online store starting today.

Micromax is once again all set to make the headlines in the budget smartphone arena and has started teasing the Micromax Canvas Knight. It will take the torch from the Canvas Turbo and will be flagship device henceforth in the company's line-up. The smartphone will be the company's first octa-core offering and will be launched soon to rival the Intex Aqua Octa.

Last year in October, Micromax revealed that it will be launching its devices in Russia and Romania in 2014. Micromax has now announced that they have started their operations in Russia by launching new Canvas and Bolt smartphones in the country. Micromax has launched two Canvas smartphones, the Canvas Beat A114R and the Canvas Social A94 in Russia. The smartphones are the variants of Canvas 2.2 and Canvas MAd, which are already available in India.

Micromax has also announced its latest flagship device, the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 in Russia, which comes with octa-core processor and 16MP camera.
